Siloam Family Health Center
1423 12th Avenue South, Unit #5
Nashville, TN 37203
As a primary health care center, Siloam’s purpose is to provide affordable, high-quality health care to the uninsured and those who slip through the cracks in the health care system because of time, money and language barriers. Patients are asked to contribute to their health care by giving a suggested donation based on their ability to pay for services. More than 80% of Siloam’s patients these days are refugees and immigrants, representing more than 90 different countries.
Siloam was charted in 1990 to live out the Biblical and historical commitment of the church to care for the poor and the sick. Siloam’s mission is to share the love of Christ by serving those in need through health care.
Siloam has alliances with Nashville area hospitals, specialists, and labs. They also mentor university medical students, interns, residents, nursing students, and others, providing future health care professionals the opportunity to serve in a faith-based setting serving low-income and underserved populations.
