Oasis Center

1221 16th Avenue South

Nashville, TN 37212

The Oasis Center is a shelter for troubled teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17. They may be experiencing conflicts at home or school that the parents feel they cannot address themselves. Oasis Center provides both outpatient counseling and up to 2 weeks of residence with guardian approval. Either the teen or the parents may initiate it. While in residence, Oasis Center provides respite care and also schooling so that the teen is not burdened with unexcused absences while in the program. Counselors work with the families for follow-up or on-going counseling as needed.

Oasis Center also works with “Safe Place”: when teens come to one of the Safe Places around the city, they are transported to Oasis Center for protection and counseling.
