Miriam’s Promise

37 Rutledge Street

Nashville, TN 37210

Miriam’s Promise is a UMC program that ministers to couples hoping to adopt and to young girls who have unwanted or untimely pregnancies. These girls receive counseling, education assistance, and a number of other support services. The Special Needs Adoption Program at Miriam’s Promise is also a very important ministry. They dedicate their healing energies to assisting children along the journey from foster care to permanent, adoptive families. There are more than a thousand children in the state of Tennessee who long for a Mommy and Daddy of their very own. Miriam’s Promise works with children day-to-day to assist them in grieving, healing and moving through a traumatized childhood to a home where hope lives.
