Bishop McAlilly announces '40 days of prayer' with resources leading up to 2013 Annual Conference
Bishop Bill McAlilly is calling the Memphis and Tennessee Conferences that together make up the Nashville Episcopal Area of the United Methodist Church to a season of prayer leading up to their 2013 Annual Conferences in early June (Click Here for a link to today's prayer!)
The pre-conference prayer period will run for 40 days, beginning April 24. Resources in the form of a prayer guide and suggested sermon subjects with scripture have been created and are available to encourage faithful participation.
The Memphis Annual Conference takes place June 2-5 at Collierville UMC in Collierville, Tenn. The Tennessee Annual Conference takes place June 10-12 at Brentwood UMC in Brentwood, Tenn.
"I believe this call to prayer will change your life and our churches as we prepare for Annual Conference," said McAlilly.
